Wild Blueberry Smoothies

A smoothie for Dan and one for me.
 In the summertime we like healthy fruit smoothies for an afternoon snack or even for dinner if we've had a heavy lunch.  It's wild blueberry season here in Cape Breton and just the right time for a wild blueberry smoothie.  Place the following in a blender:  1 cup of wild blueberries, 1 cup of blueberry juice, 1 cup of milk, and 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream.  (2 tablespoons of honey optional),  Blend and serve.  Makes four 8 ounce servings.

1 cup of wild blueberries.


1 cup of blueberry juice.
1 cup of milk.

2 scoops of vanilla ice cream.
Blend all of the above and ENJOY!!
